Fish

Lake Willoughby is a 300 foot deep glacial lake that yields impressive catches of landlocked salmon, trout, and perch, if it's your lucky day! Other lakes abound in the area and there are numerous streams and rivers if you are a fly-fisher person. Fishing supplies are available at The Willoughby Lake Store or Evansville Trading Post.

Golf

When you're on Coles Mountain, in Westmore, Vermont, you may enjoy a round of golf at Lake Willoughby Golf. Established and maintained by Alan Cole, whose family has resided on the mountain for generations.

Disk Golf

Disk Golf is available at The Hollow Disk Golf in nearby Sutton, Vermont and Derby Town Forest, in Derby, Vermont, Prouty Beach in Newport, Vermont, as well as the campus of Northern Vermont University in Lyndon, Vermont.

Skeet

Northeast Kingdom Skeet & Sporting Clays Club in Burke has been the host site for VT State Sporting Club Clays Shoot since 2002. They offer skeet, five-stand, trap, and sporting clay shooting.

"Ethan and I loved our stay here. This is an incredibly beautiful place inside and out. We had the pleasure of witnessing a pair of young robins fledge from their nest near the fire pit. Lots of time observing, eating, walking, and just being present in this nurturing place. Nature even blessed us with a rainy day and night so we could read and play scrabble to our heart's content. Your woodstove is awesome! The view from Mt. Pisgah is one we wont soon forget. We hope to return again to experience the beauty here."
